On 31 July 2025, a group of international students from the faculty of science, Kasetsart University, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chatchawan Jantasuriyarat, Deputy Dean for Research and International Affairs, took part in a one-day cultural excursion, exploring some of Bangkok’s most significant cultural and historical landmarks. The trip, organized to provide an immersive experience of Thai heritage, allows students to visit several iconic sites Temple and Exhibition Hall in the Bangkok area.
The trip began with a morning departure from campus at 9:00 AM. The first destination was Saket Ratchawora Mahawihan Temple (Golden Mount), where students learned about its historical and religious importance. This was followed by a visit to Ratchanatdaram Worawihan Temple, renowned for its unique Iron Monastery structure.
In the afternoon, the group visited the Rattanakosin Exhibition Hall to gain deeper insights into Thai history, art, and architecture. The excursion provided students with a valuable experience of Thai heritage.
