Faculty of Science, Kasetsart University Welcomes Exchange Students from the University of Osaka for SSSV 2026
On August 13, 2026, the Faculty of Science, Kasetsart University (SciKU), welcomed master’s degree exchange students from the University of Osaka as part of the SSSV 2026 Exchange Student Program. The orientation was opened by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Panu Pimviriyakul, Assistant Dean for International Affairs, Faculty of Science, who warmly welcomed the students and introduced them to Kasetsart University, the Faculty of Science, and its research and academic environment. The session provided the students with an overview of the faculty and helped prepare them for their upcoming research experience at Kasetsart University.
The program is supported and coordinated by Prof. Dr. Arinthip Thamchaipenet, Director of the Center for Omics in Agriculture, Bioresources, Food and Health, Kasetsart University (OmiKU). As part of the SSSV 2026 program, the students will undertake research under the supervision of five faculty members from the Department of Chemistry and Department of Microbiology, based on their respective research interests:
Department of Chemistry — Assoc. Prof. Pakorn Wattana-Amorn and Asst. Prof. Dr. Witcha Imaram
Department of Microbiology — Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ingorn Kimkong, Asst. Prof. Dr. Pannida Khunnamwong, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Rachatida Det-udom
Following the orientation, the students joined a brief tour of the Faculty of Science, including visits to the Inspiration Center Faculty of Science KU (ISci) and the Faculty of Science cafeteria. The tour allowed them to become familiar with the faculty’s facilities and academic environment before beginning their research activities. Throughout the one-month SSSV 2026 program, the students will have the opportunity to gain hands-on research experience, exchange knowledge with researchers at Kasetsart University, and further develop their academic and research skills in their respective fields.
คณะวิทยาศาสตร์ มก. ต้อนรับนิสิตแลกเปลี่ยนจาก the University of Osaka ในโครงการ SSSV 2026
เมื่อวันที่ 13 สิงหาคม 2569 คณะวิทยาศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ จัดกิจกรรมปฐมนิเทศเพื่อต้อนรับนิสิตแลกเปลี่ยนระดับปริญญาโทจาก the University of Osaka ในโครงการ SSSV 2026 Exchange Student Program โดยได้รับเกียรติจาก รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร. ภานุ พิมพ์วิริยะกุล ผู้ช่วยคณบดีฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์ คณะวิทยาศาสตร์ เป็นประธานกล่าวเปิดโครงการและให้การต้อนรับนิสิต พร้อมแนะนำภาพรวมของมหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ และงานวิจัยรวมทั้งสภาพแวดล้อมทางวิชาการของคณะวิทยาศาสตร์ เพื่อให้นิสิตได้ทำความรู้จักและพร้อมเริ่มต้นโครงการวิจัยในคณะวิทยาศาสตร์
โครงการนี้ได้รับการสนับสนุนและประสานงาน โดย ศาสตราจารย์ ดร. อรินทิพย์ ธรรมชัยพิเนต ผู้อำนวยการ ศูนย์โอมิกส์ด้านเกษตร ทรัพยากรชีวภาพ อาหารและสุขภาพ มหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ (OmiKU) โดยนิสิตผู้เข้าร่วมโครงการ SSSV 2026 จะได้ศึกษาเรียนรู้และทำงานวิจัยภายใต้การดูแลของคณาจารย์จาก ภาควิชาต่าง ๆ จำนวน 5 ท่าน ตามหัวข้อวิจัยที่เกี่ยวข้อง ได้แก่
- ภาควิชาเคมี โดยมี รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร. ปกรณ์ วรรธนะอมร และ ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร. วิชชา อิ่มอร่าม เป็นอาจารย์ผู้ดูแลการวิจัย
- ภาควิชาจุลชีววิทยา โดยมี รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร. อิงอร กิมกง ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร. พัณณิดา ขุนนามวงษ์ และ ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร. รัชธิดา เดชอุดม เป็นอาจารย์ผู้ดูแลการวิจัย
หลังเสร็จสิ้นพิธีการนิสิตผู้เข้าร่วมโครงการได้เข้าร่วมการเยี่ยมชมพื้นที่และสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกภายในคณะวิทยาศาสตร์ เช่น หอประวัติ โรงอาหารคณะวิทยาศาสตร์ เพื่อทำความรู้จักกับสถานที่และบรรยากาศของคณะเพื่อเตรียมพร้อมสำหรับการเรียนรู้และสร้างประสบการณ์ด้านการวิจัยตลอดระยะเวลา 1 เดือน ในการเข้าร่วมโครงการ SSSV 2026
