Kasetsart University Hosts the 16th International Symposium on Ionizing Radiation and Polymers (IRaP 2026) in Thailand for the First Time
Kasetsart University, through the Center of Radiation Processing for Polymer Modification and Nanotechnology (CRPN), Faculty of Science, in coordination with Be Green One Creation Co., Ltd. and in cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), is hosting The 16th International Symposium on Ionizing Radiation and Polymers (IRaP 2026) from 26 to 30 October 2026 at the Pullman Phuket Arcadia Naithon Beach, Phuket, Thailand. This marks the first time Thailand has hosted this prestigious international symposium.
The opening ceremony is scheduled to be presided over by Asst. Prof. Dr. Khongsak Thiangtum, President of Kasetsart University, alongside Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wanchai Pluempanupat, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Advisory Committee member, who will deliver the welcome address to international participants.
IRaP 2026 is co-chaired by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wanvimol Pasanphan and Dr. Thananchai Piroonpan from CRPN, Faculty of Science, Kasetsart University. The symposium serves as a global forum to facilitate the exchange of cutting-edge knowledge, strengthen research collaboration, and bridge academic discoveries with industrial sustainability.
Organized under the theme “Shaping the Future: Radiations of Inspiration and Innovation for Sustainable Polymers and Industries,” the symposium features keynote and plenary lectures from distinguished global experts, oral and poster presentation sessions, a dedicated pre-conference training course for students and early-career researchers, and business-networking exhibitions.

มหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ โดยศูนย์กระบวนการทางรังสีเพื่อการดัดแปรพอลิเมอร์และนาโนเทคโนโลยี (Center of Radiation Processing for Polymer Modification and Nanotechnology: CRPN) คณะวิทยาศาสตร์ ร่วมกับ บริษัท บีกรีนวัน ครีเอชั่น จำกัด ภายใต้ความร่วมมือกับ ทบวงการพลังงานปรมาณูระหว่างประเทศ (IAEA) เป็นเจ้าภาพจัดการประชุมวิชาการนานาชาติ The 16th International Symposium on Ionizing Radiation and Polymers (IRaP 2026) ระหว่างวันที่ 26–30 ตุลาคม 2569 ณ โรงแรมพูลแมน ภูเก็ต อาร์เคเดีย ไนทอนบีช (Pullman Phuket Arcadia Naithon Beach) จังหวัดภูเก็ต นับเป็นครั้งแรกที่ประเทศไทยได้รับเกียรติเป็นเจ้าภาพจัดการประชุมวิชาการนานาชาติด้านเทคโนโลยีรังสีและพอลิเมอร์ระดับโลกนี้
ในพิธีเปิดการประชุม ได้รับเกียรติจาก ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ นายสัตวแพทย์ ดร.คงศักดิ์ เที่ยงธรรม อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ เป็นประธานในพิธีเปิด พร้อมด้วย รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.วันชัย ปลื้มภาณุภัทร คณบดีคณะวิทยาศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ และคณะกรรมการที่ปรึกษาการจัดงาน กล่าวต้อนรับผู้เข้าร่วมประชุมจากนานาประเทศ
การจัดประชุมครั้งนี้มี รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.วรรณวิมล ปาสาณพันธ์ และ ดร.ธนัญชัย พิรุณพันธุ์ จากศูนย์ CRPN คณะวิทยาศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ ร่วมทำหน้าที่เป็นประธานการจัดงาน (Chairs of IRaP 2026) โดยมีเป้าหมายเพื่อส่งเสริมการแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ ประสบการณ์ และความก้าวหน้าทางวิชาการระหว่างนักวิจัย ผู้เชี่ยวชาญ และตัวแทนจากภาคอุตสาหกรรมทั่วโลก ตลอดจนสร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือและต่อยอดงานวิจัยสู่การพัฒนานวัตกรรมอย่างยั่งยืน
การประชุมจัดขึ้นภายใต้แนวคิด “Shaping the Future: Radiations of Inspiration and Innovation for Sustainable Polymers and Industries” กิจกรรมภายในงานประกอบด้วยการบรรยายพิเศษโดยผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิระดับนานาชาติ การนำเสนอผลงานวิจัยทั้งภาคบรรยายและโปสเตอร์ หลักสูตรอบรมเชิงปฏิบัติการก่อนการประชุม (Pre-conference Training Course) สำหรับนักศึกษาและนักวิจัยรุ่นใหม่ ตลอดจนกิจกรรมส่งเสริมความร่วมมือระหว่างสถาบันการศึกษาและภาคอุตสาหกรรม
